Task 1 Add a VMkernel port group to a switch
go to host and cluster seclect esxi host 1>networking>Vmkarnel adapters
choose VMkernenal network adapter
i select a switch0
enter the name of network label and in ip setting select IPv4
Task-2 configure the iscsi software adapter and connect to the storage
go to the storage adapter and click on green plus sign and choose ISCSI software adapter
click ok
tick on ip storage
LUN number -0
operational state -attached
Hardware Acceleration- Not supported

Trouble shooting –
performing this task i am unable to connect with iSCSI storage in server “nov sa-win server-16 ” so i installed new server “nov sa-win server-2” this worked in this task and connected with iSCSi storage .
